Waterton

We figured out that it had been 3 YEARS since we spent some summer time in Canada. So we were super excited that we got a couple weeks off to go to Waterton this year! And this was the year of hiking! Yay?? Don't get me wrong I love me a good wilderness stroll if it's semi-short and zero elevation... But Sky was on a kick this year and thats all he wanted to do!
The first day we gathered up the WHOLE gang and hiked to Wall Lake! A total of 6 miles but not really that difficult... I mean I couldn't really complain if pregnant Brittany was doing it while pushing her almost 2 year old right? (yes I did say pregnant! I'm gonna be an aunt again!) We ended the night with a campfire dinner down by the river with more family!
The view from The Prince of Wales Hotel! I can never get enough. Lets be honest you have never seen blues and greens like this!
We spent one of the warmer days at Red Rock Canyon exploring/wading (by wading i mean Sky carrying me for the most part) around in the freezing glacier water. But not before Sky dragged me on another little hike to Blakiston Falls. This one was only 1 mile but there was a bear warning and since it was just me and Sky i was totally stressing. But we made it!
Sky and his cousin Taylor woke up early one day and went on a 14 mile mountain bike/hike adventure. I was super nervous because this year there was a lot of bear warnings and heavy snow areas... they ran into both.

The end result.
Horse back riding and hiking to Bertha Falls (3.5 mi)
....and that's my husband..
And of course you cant go to waterton and not hike Bears Hump, even though every time I do it I swear I will never do it again!!!
And that was our whole trip!! Are you all pictured out yet? Because it's gonna be a while before there is any more since Sky dropped our camera.. All in all we had a great summer and now we're getting ready for the busy rush of the winter season!

Better late than never! Christmas 2010

Since Magnum spilt water on my computer almost a year ago and I finally figured out how to get my pictures on Sky's Mac (i hate Macs!) I can now share some pictures of our life from the past year! So i thought I would start with last winter/christmas.

We spent christmas in Utah with Sky's family.
Sky and Papa eating pickled pigs feet..
Looking for the pickle in the tree!(not the pickled feet) P.S. I found it thank you very much!
Matching Jammies
Waiting on the stairs christmas morning!
Christmas Day Dinner
Sky and baby P
"Pull String" gifts!!!

my poor little car after the huge snow storm that kept us in Utah a few extra days and caused us to spend 16 hours driving home! It was intense.

I'll share more later of our summer trips!!

Dear Dad....

Daddy, It's me your princess
Your precious "diamond girl"
I miss you so much everyday
Since you left this world

I do not understand
And I cannot ask the why's
But you taught me to trust the Lord
For in Him there my faith lies

So every night I pray
That Jesus holds you near
And tells you that I love you
Even though you left me here

Sometimes I hurt so bad
From the pain of losing you
So I run into the arms of God
The same arms that hold you too

And in those precious moments
I feel you ever close to me
The Holy Spirit whispers "it will be ok
One day you all will see"

So I'll live my life and fight the fight
Until that day when all is clear
In certain ways I'm more blessed now
For I have a special angel here

West Coast Lovin!

6 months is finally up! I flew up to Oregon and we spent a couple of days in the beautiful LITTLE town of Bandon!

I was so lucky to be there on a rare sunny day!

BANDON DUNESS GOLF RESORT
Sky was so blessed to get an internship at this worldclass golf course!

So gorgeous but definitely your hair's worst nightmare!

Southern Oregon/ Northern Cali coast!! Seriously we were stopping every 15 minutes because every corner we came around was another breathtaking view!

I have to say I think the Redwood Forest was my favorite part of the whole trip!

We stopped by Point Reyes National Seashore right outside of beautiful Santa Rosa! Amazing deserted beaches!!

San Fran!! GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!!

We stopped at Pebble Beach at sunset and did the 17 mile drive. I would recommend this to everyone! It was INCREDIBLE the ocean and views were to die for! Of course we stopped by the pro shop and Sky got a pebble beach hat!

The next morning we were off to Malibu!!!

BEVERLY HILLS was our last stop before heading home. I was exhausted by then but it was beautiful of course!

We had an amazing trip spending it together! I've missed my Sky and I'm so glad he's home for good!!
Now time to get back to real life...:)
