Teambuilders Family Reunion!

This weekend was the Major Function Family Reunion!!! I especially LOVE Family Reunion because it was 6 years ago at the Teambuilders Reunion that Sky and I first met... woo woo! This year it was at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort and it was SO AWESOME!! Jesterz Comedy Club was our entertainment and they were so hilarious! Joe Victor was the guest speaker and he was phenomenol! This weekend focused alot on celebrating the 50 year anniversary of AMYWAY and just how awesome it is that we live in America where we have the freedom to live our dreams if we so choose!! It was so fun seeing how things have changed and even more fun looking at all the old pictures of the leaders hairdo's and clothes! The company has come along way and it continues to get better and better ever year and it is super exciting! Sky and I are so excited for our future! I love him so much he's a winner and the best husband and I am so proud of him and so proud to be his wife!!! We had a great weekend and we can't wait until October for DREAM WEEKEND!!!

Adventure

Last weekend really started when me and Sky went to drop Magnum off at my Mom's so she could watch him for the weekend while we were camping. For those of you that don't know, Magnum is unpredictable around other dogs (example: Freaking out in Pets Mart barking at another dog and making me fall FLAT on my face in front of everyone... and sometimes he's fine, so we never know with him). Anyways, my mom has this dog thats half the size of Magnum. He's a really good dog and very well behaved. SOO I went into the house first to hold my Mom's dog and Sky brought Magnum in on the leash.... Well my Mom's dog FLIPPED at Magnum and went straight for his throat and latched on!!! Sky grabbed the dog by the collar and was holding him up in the air but he wouldn't let go of Magnum. The dog started shaking his head back and forth trying to rip apart Magnum. I was holding Magnum's head still so he wouldn't try to move and I also had both of my hands in the other dog's mouth trying to seperate his jaw. Nope he wasn't budging. All this time I am SCREAMING, bloody murder screaming, HELP, and I was bawling hysteracally.(this is all going on outside my mom's front door)I'm hitting the other dog in the face and grabbing at his eyeballs...I was frantic ok... FINALLY my brother came out and puched the dog square in the face and he let go of Magnum. Long story but I ended up with a black, puffy lip and Sky had bites and cuts all on his hands. Even though it was finally over, I couldn't calm down. It was like watching my own child being attacked by a dog. Most intense, scariest moment of my whole entire life. Magnum was fine, He has some cuts and scabs on his neck, but luckily the other dog only got a mouthful of Magnum's hair.

So I was still sick to my stomache but we finally left for camping! And it was so much fun! Sky especially loves to explore the outdoors, yes like a little child...

This is the first camping trip in a looooong time where all the grandkids were there together at the same time!!! So of course we went to the giraffe tree and that was quite the experience.. since 4 of us have spouses now we had to really scrunch together. It took a little bit of time to get situated and well Sky is so antsy so yeah that was fun..oh and part of that crazy experience involved Tyson eating an earth worm for $20 and Carson eating one well just because...



We went on a lot of rides and we did go to the water caves again which was really fun but I'm too scared to go crawling throughout the whole thing so i only go in a little bit.

We had such a great time we didn't want to leave, but i was so glad to get home to Magnum. I was worrying about him the whole weekend. My mom kept the other dog in the laundry room but I was still nervous that something would happen. Anyways everthing was fine and We had a great time with my family!!! Can't wait til next camping trip!

NO WORK WEEKEND!!!!!!!!

Our fun weekend started out with Transformers friday night at the IMAX. It was pretty good definitely not as bad as everyone made it sound... however the IMAX did make me a little dizzy. Saturday we woke up and went swimming!! It was such a HOT day and the pool felt amazing. But we got absolutely FRIED (sky alot more than me). Saturday night we went to TOBY KEITHS with some friends! SO FUN! if you haven't been there yet you for sure need to check it out.


Sleeping just sucked that night... our burnt bodies hurt so bad! Then today we went to the Wildlife Zoo & Aquarium! It was really fun, you get to be so close to the animals....even the scary ones!

The kangaroo walkabout was one of my most favorite ones. The Kangaroos just bounce all around you! It was insane!!!! They even had little babies in their pouches! I tried to feed them...

The Aquarium was pretty dang cool! So many crazy Sea Creatures, I love it! We got to touch some weird ones and they also had a stingray feeding pool where you get to pet the big stingrays!


It was so much fun. I think Sky was a little embarassed by me because i was talking to all the animals, especially the monkeys and Tigers!

We then topped off the perfect weekend with El Charro, YUM!
I should have spent this weekend catching up on homework and studying but It's soooo rare for me to get the weekends off of work so I wanted to have fun! I loved spending it with my baby!

Last month Sky talked to me about changing our cell phone plan because he thought we were going to start going over our mintues... I assured him that we don't EVER come close to using all of our minutes each month, so we'd be fine. Sure enough, I open the mail today to find a lovely $400.00 Verizon bill! Awesome.... BUT, I'm not even mad about it!! shocking i know! But this just shows that my wonderful, sexy husband has just been cranking with our business! I am so proud of him and want him to know how much i love and support him! He really has been working so hard! He's a winner and he's my best friend and i can't wait for the exciting things the future has in store for us! However, I do agree NOW that we should change our cell plan because, although i'm taking this suprisingly well, I'm not about to make this a monthly habit.!

This past weekend Sky and I were able to travel to Canada to attend our sweet Nana's funeral.(Nana is Sky's mom's, mom) The service was absolutely beautiful and Sky gave the most amazing talk. I was so proud of him. After the funeral we all drove into Waterton, Nana's favorite place to be, and it was so beautiful with soo much snow! The weekend was bitter/sweet for us. We said goodbye to Nana, but we got to spend time with alot of our family that we don't get to see very often. We will miss Nana and her silliness very much but we're so grateful to know that she is in a better place and that we will be with her again someday.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year teaching a primary class full of off the wall 4 year olds, watching the masters, spending time with family, eating lots of yummy food, and most importantly, celebrating the resurrection of Christ and all he did for us. Sky and I were able to take some flowers to my dad's grave. I think loosing someone you love makes you appreciate the true meaning of Easter more. I am so grateful that our Savior sacrificed so much for us so that we can return again to Him. And I'm so grateful to know that I will be with my dad again someday. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and know that we love you!

Ouch!!

Monday I started to get a dull pain in my big toe. It was nothing major it just felt sore so i ignored it. Wednesday early morning I woke up because the pain was so intense. Any movement of my foot killed and even having the bed sheet slightly touch my toe made me scream! My toe and foot became swollen and the pain started moving down throughout my foot. Sky thought i was just being a baby and he kept saying "It's fine, this happens to me all the time" uhh oh really?? i don't think so? I knew something wasn't right. So anyways, I went to school and had to leave early because the pain was so bad it was making me nauseous. I went to my family doctor who then sent me to a podiatrist to get x-rays. Long story short.. I have no idea what I did to my toe, but a little bone fragment got chipped off! It is definitly the worst pain i've ever had in my entire life! The doctor wrapped it all up and i have to wear a boot. I guess the little bone fragment will just regrow to my bone, but until then i'm supposed to keep off of my foot. I'll be glad when this is all over with. It takes so much energy just to do the littlest things but don't worry, I'm milking Sky for all he's worth!!! He's actually being the best husband and taking care of me soo good! It's been kind of nice, I got out of work for a week and I've just been laying in bed watching movies. I think i've watched Twilight 6 times in the past 5 days!!!
